So I can actually enjoy New Year's Eve after a bit of sleep.

At least I won't have trouble being awake to see in the New Year!

I have a couple of characters in the early design stages, but I really suck at drawing people.

So I rebuilt the carburetor last night...

I fired up Sid Meier's Pirates again yesterday, the new video card makes it far more playable.

I wonder if X2 - The Threat would be playable? I haven't been able to run it at a playable speed so far...

Just got it yesterday and I have to say I definitely need a new video card now!
The poor old GeForce FX 5200 just ain't cutting it any more.

I'm pretty sure there aren't supposed to be big glowing green and red bits in otherwise dark rooms (will post a screenshot soon, if you're interested)

(Edit: Turns out there's a European Language Version patch hidden on the LucasArts site, only for Non-US versions. That would explain the lack of other references or links from the site.)

Of course, I can't wait for Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith either, but I'm sure it will be a bit anti-climactic after all the hype.

"I need to get administrator priveleges on this computer from my work IT Department so that I can install the PPPoE client software and then and only then do I need to set up my email on this computer. By the way, it's working on my desktop PC."
